Powertrain Options and Platform

The Tata Curvv is built on the new ATLAS platform and comes with three engine options:

  • 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine: This engine produces 120 HP and 170 Nm of torque.
  • 1.5-litre diesel engine: Delivers 118 HP and 260 Nm of torque.
  • 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol Hyperion engine: Tata’s latest innovation, producing 125 HP and 225 Nm of torque.

All engines are paired with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, while a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) option is also available. Notably, the Curvv is the only mass-market diesel car in India to offer a dual-clutch automatic transmission, making it a unique proposition in its segment.

Interior and Design

The interior of the Tata Curvv draws inspiration from Tata’s Nexon and Nexon EV models, offering a familiar yet premium experience. Key features include a dual-tone burgundy and black colour scheme and a dashboard design that echoes the Nexon’s upscale feel. The four-spoke steering wheel, borrowed from the Tata Harrier and Safari, adds to the vehicle’s sophisticated ambiance.
